Cheesecloth Imagery at MISSA with Mary Pal

Mary Pal will be instructing a weeklong workshop with the Metchosin International Summer School of the Arts in British Columbia in July 2023. Join her for a full week of cheesecloth adventures.

You’ll explore all this amazing textile can do with simple introductory exercises exploring landscapes, birds, animals, and portraits. Then you can create your own unique larger piece … or just keep exploring with a series of small works. It is a fun and simple technique that has thousands of applications in fibre art.

Workshops take place at the beautiful location and facilities of Shawnigan Lake School near Victoria, BC, and you have the option to stay on or off campus (with meals provided).
