Portrait of a Chef

This piece honors the women and men who work in commercial kitchens. We don’t really know who they are, but they make the meals we eat in restaurants and take home to serve our families. They are not celebrity chefs we see on TV they are hard working people who brave hot stoves and sharp knives and very long hours. They are my hero’s. They live in a stainless steel landscape and love their job. They are every age and color. They cook with love.
