I’m a textile artist - I print and paint all the fabrics for my quilts. There is Peace, Tranquility and Joy in the wonders of nature, not least at the seaside.
Materials
100% cotton. Hand-printed cotton, indigo-dyed cotton, cyanotype printed cotton, Colour Vie fabric pigment.
Techniques
I created all the fabrics in this quilt by: painting with pigments (using the edge of a seashell), Indigo dyeing, Cyanotype printing with a feather. Pieced, fused, machine quilted.
