Under A Blood Red Sky

Red is the color of blood, the color of war. As I listened to news reports about the conflict in Ukraine, this work began to represent the chaos and misery that the country is experiencing. The fragments of buildings hit by missiles fly up into the air. Smoke and fire tint the sky. Anything and anyone might become a target.
