Neural Neckwork

Neural Neckwork explores the intersection of textile tradition, wearable adornment, and emergent technologies. Fabric-covered cords, printed with binary code, circuit imagery, and snippets of text about AI, are bound in strips of vintage gold fabric. At its center hangs a brooch-like assemblage of deconstructed smartphones, salvaged tech components, and orphan jewelry that transforms electronic detritus into a contemporary artifact. The extra lenses and mics might be obsolete, but they still look like they're eavesdropping—hinting that in the age of AI, surveillance is just another fashion statement.
