My art quilts are mostly abstract in nature. I usually start by creating fabric with dye and/or paint and let the fabrics inspire the images I create. I aim for images that evoke feelings that I want to experience as I work – joy, peace, security, and excitement. In Evolved 7, the gentle spring colors were created to evoke a sense of peace and contentment.
