Climbing Fiske Hill

A winter walk up a wooded path was the inspiration for this quilt. A base was constructed that set out the values of the features I wanted to emphasize. Small pieces of fabric were then fused to the base in a mosaic-like manner. The colors were chosen to create the mood I wanted to evoke - contentment.
