During this decade, my evolution was characterized by a shift from commercial to hand-dyed fabrics and by my growing fascination with nuanced contrast to create an illusion of depth. "Veni Sancte Spiritus," which is covered with stab stitches, is the only piece I've ever embellished with hand stitching.
