Unendlich

This quilt was made for the concours 2011 of the European Patchwork Meeting in Ste. Marie aux Mines in France. The theme was "Tangled". I used ombre fabrics, which show kind of stairs, getting a strong depth by using light and shadows. I liked to play with that no using really constructed perspective.
For the two parts of tangle I used hand-dyed silk in warm colours in contrast to the "cool" background.
