Styx and Stones (Not just another river cruise)

In Greek mythology, the river Styx forms the boundary between the world of the living and the world of the dead. The ferryman, Charon, delivers the souls of the departed across the river, for which he receives a gold coin. In this piece, we encounter Charon as he is ferrying a soul to the other side. The fiery entrance of Hell looms ahead, and the soul is resigned to the fate awaiting him.
