Magical Mystery City

I created this piece based on a photograph I took of a city scene in Prague. It was done for a special show in which I collaborated with a watercolor/mixed media artist named Kaye Shannon. We picked a theme (CityScapes) and brainstormed about color, then worked on our own. She did borrow some of my fabric and scanned it onto tissue paper to use in her piece. It was amazing how our pieces worked together. It was a great opportunity for other fine artists to learn more about fiber art. The show was open to the public, and was well attended.
