Fire is a powerful primal force that can both heal and destroy. It is beautiful and nurturing as well as devastating and ravaging. Forest fires have now become daily disasters affecting our lives and entire ecological systems. I made this piece to illustrate how fires are eradicating our magnificent old growth forests.
