David Bowie was influential in music, fashion and modern culture. A fearless innovator his genius touched many lives. For myself, his was the first album I owned and I have loved his music since that time in the late '60's. His death was a shock to us all and tributes flowed from everywhere - from fellow rock stars to presidents. Like his life though the end was stylish, dignified and full of finesse. This work is a tribute to the colourful life he led and a celebration of the colours of his genius. "He opened strange doors that we'd never close again." "Put on your red shoes and dance the blues." Such a loss.
