Her father suffered a massive, severe stroke in February of 2020. Family members went to the hospital every day. Suddenly, COVID-19 shut down all visitations. The family knew he needed encouragement and connection, so they made smartphone videos twice each week. Nurses kindly showed his family on a monitor so they could talk to him from the visitor’s room. During those long, sad months there came a realization: Death is always connected. "Do Not Worry. I Am Always By Your Side." Her father died on January 1, 2021.
