Snoqualmie Falls

The memory of stepping out of our car at Snoqualmie Falls, WA, still reverberates in my memory today. It was a crashing, thunderous, pounding sound of water. And when my eyes saw the beauty of what produced these sounds I was in awe! Water in all its glory! It was powerful, beautiful, uncontrollable. It seemed to fall in sheets like curtains of water. Its mist rose high above the dark, deep pool into which it fell. This natural wonder also produces hydroelectric power that helps humanity.
