A Montana Blue Ribbon

An abstract representation of a blue ribbon trout stream in my home state of Montana. The fish weave through the water moving in and out of shadow and light. The trout create ripples on the surface and sometimes fully erupt from the clear waters to catch their insect meals. A calm surface will clearly identify the presence of trout by the vibrations, splashes and widening circles caused by their movements, particularly in low waters, or when swimming or feeding.
