This work is titled "A Few of My Favorite Things". This year my son will be 15 but his emotional and functional level is between 2-3 years old. I appreciate his innocent atypical development. The joy that he gets from his therapist and family members reading Pete the Cat and Frog and Toad stories is an experience to behold. He flaps his hands and bounces on his tippy toes as he repeats in a robotic voice the phrase, “I would like Pete the Cat. I would like Frog and Toad”.
