Coastal Overlook

Driving along the Pacific Coast Highway was somewhat challenging because the view was EXTREMELY distracting! The mountains plunged steeply down into the sea, which was a wonderful teal color. Rocks jutted up, waves churned, and golden grasses swayed in the breeze. It was mesmerizing.

Improvisational piecing helped me add the energy the scene deserved.
