Works and Words From a 9/11 First Responder

Susan volunteered as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York City after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. During her "off" time she sketched future art quilts related to her experiences, and kept a journal of what was occurring. This exhibit, commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9/11, includes fourteen art quilts both framed and unframed, a 10th anniversary quilt as well as a 20th anniversary quilt, her journal excerpts, and memorabilia from her time spent in New York City.
