Fusion Art invites submissions for the 6th Annual Waterscapes art competition for an online exhibition during the month of May 2021.
For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best art depicting waterscapes. The theme includes any art which depicts any type of body of water including the ocean, lakes, rivers, ponds, streams, coastal living, any ocean activities, seaside vistas, beaches, and any related seashore or lakeside subjects. It can also include rain, puddles and frozen waterscapes.
The artwork can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction and all artists, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best representational and/or abstract waterscapes art and photography.
Here is a link to the 5th Annual Waterscapes Art Exhibition in order to help artists see what type of art was accepted in the past.
All competitions include awards in three categories – “Traditional” Art, “Digital & Photography” and 3-Dimensional Art (if the gallery receives 3D entries). Best in Show and 2nd through 5th Place awards will be given. The Best in Show winners will receive a cash prize and an invitation to Fusion Art’s 6th Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in 2022.
Depending on the number and quality of all submissions received, Honorable Mention and/or Special Recognition awards may also be given. Please see further information below under the Awards section.
The deadline for receiving entries is May 1, 2021. The exhibition will open on the website on May 5, 2021.
