Exhibition Theme:
What touches you? What do you touch? Touch can be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Touch is part of our well-being, an elemental form of communication, and a lack of touch can affect our physical and emotional health. We say ‘keep in touch’ to those we wish to have contact with, ‘I’m touched’ as an emotional response or ‘don’t touch’ to keep people away.

This is a showcase for Western Canada SAQA Regional Members and those who have selected Western Canada as their second region. The purpose of this show is to present the diversity of our member artist’s talent and support SAQA’s mission to ‘promote the art quilt’. The trunk show allows audiences to engage with the quilts in an up-close and personal way.

All work will travel indefinitely with the SAQA Western Canada Regional Trunk Show.

Venues: To be determined. Any member may request the Trunk Show to present to local groups and venues in their area.

Eligibility: The trunk show is a non-juried showcase. All submitted works will be accepted. The artist must be a SAQA Western Canada member or have Western Canada as their second region to be eligible to enter.

Details: Each entry must be 8 by 10 inches (either orientation). No 3D work will be accepted.

All work must include a label securely fastened on the back with the artist’s name, title of the work, and date completed. Each piece entered must be accompanied by an entry form.

There is no entry fee. Members may submit up to two entries. Complete a separate entry form for each piece.
