One area of a quilter’s life that often goes undocumented is their workspace. We’ll sample studio tours with artists interviewed for the StoryBee project, and hear quilters talk about their workspace in excerpts from the QSOS oral history project. Quilt Alliance staff will give you tips on how to include your workspace in a personalized documentation plan for 2025.
Textile Talks features weekly presentations and panel discussions from the International Quilt Museum, Quilt Alliance, Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA), and Surface Design Association. The programs are held online at 2 p.m. Eastern (11 a.m. Pacific) each Wednesday.
