Theme: The Texas Quilt Museum invites you to submit images of up to three quilts for our 2022 juried exhibition Seeing in Color. Color plays a huge role in our lives. Color reflects our joys and sorrows. Reveals the ripeness of the fruits and vegetables we eat and sets the mood of our homes. Color surrounds us, enfolds us, cheers us, protects us, delights us. How do you see color? We are eager to see your color-inspired quilts created since 2015 for the new Texas Quilt Museum call: Seeing in Color.
Juried by Karey Bresenhan and Nancy O’Bryant Puentes. The call is open for both art quilts and traditional quilts expressing the many colors of our daily lives.
Quilts must be a minimum of 24 inches on the shorter side.
Who may enter: Quilters of all ages and styles are welcome to enter the call. If more than one person assisted in the making of the quilt, please be sure to list each person by name on the entry form.
Entry fee: US $25 for up to 3 entries per quilter.
Images: Digital images no larger than 5.5 MB each, one full view and one detail. Send to vickim@quilts.com with the completed entry form.
