Field Studies: Interpreting the West is a solo exhibition featuring a series of textile artworks by Lisa Flowers Ross which were inspired by specific locations in the western United States. Noticing unique geological features, specific landscape colors, expansive skies and plants, the artist pieces together colorful images of places she has visited using varying degrees of abstraction.
