The Popcorn Gallery at Glen Echo Park in Maryland presents Evolving: New Image Artists. Each New Image artist is represented by two pieces: one new artwork and one from earlier in her career. Pairs of artworks show change and growth of member artists’ bodies of work, chosen techniques and interests. Established in 1980, New Image Artists is a group of artists from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. Members are active studio artists who work primarily with cloth, paper, and alternative materials.
