The Wisdom Cloak series is a tribute to the accumulated knowledge, experience and maturity of women, so often unrecognized and rarely celebrated. Each of the Wisdom Cloaks reflect my interest in women's issues and women's work. These are garments of strength and resilience. As a group, these cloaks tell a story of female empowerment, incorporating universal themes and motifs, engaging us in a visual conversation about feminine identity.
