Martha Sielman is working on a new book which will celebrate all types of fiber art about birds. It will hopefully be published in 2023. She is looking for a variety of birds, compositions, techniques, and approaches. The answers to your Art Questions in the submission form are important, because she is hoping that the book will inspire and provide advice to other artists.
If you know someone who makes textile art that focuses on birds, please let them know about this book project.
Final selections for inclusion will be made around July 1, 2021 and notifications will go out by July 15, 2021. Martha will then work with the selected artists to choose images and text. She is negotiating with the publisher to be able to provide discounted copies of the final book to all the selected artists.
Please provide high-resolution images, but limit each image file to less than 12MB. Label your image files LASTNAME_TITLE (e.g. SIELMAN_BIRD)
