Call for Entry Deadline

Where do artist’s ideas come from? What inspires them to begin the creative process? Is it something outside of themself like a person, a space, an experience,  nature, urban life, music?  Or is it internal like moods and emotions, philosophies, critiques? Does it reference an artist from the past or a cultural style or is it a continued exploration of the artist’s previous work? Create a multi-layered textile joined by stitching and describe the inspiration behind it.

Professional Art Quilters Alliance-South is proud to announce its call for entry to the 2023 Member exhibition of innovative quilts. Create a multi-layered textile joined by stitching and describe the inspiration behind it. Innovative and original works only and must have been completed within the past two years. No kits or quilts made in a workshop with the aid of an instructor.
