The 701 CCA South Carolina Biennial 2019 is a survey exhibition of work by contemporary South Carolina artists and showcases recent work reflecting local, regional and national trends and issues influencing contemporary artists living and working in South Carolina and to increase awareness and appreciation of the artistic contributions and accomplishments of the state’s visual artists. Twenty-four artists were selected for this opportunity.
The Loss Installation is my response to family estrangement and the Anonymous Ancestors Folding Screen further explores issues of forgotten family members, passing time, and identities fading from memory.
