SAQA EXHIBITION / EVENT
• Hilton Head, SC
April 14, 2020 - April 15, 2020
This two-day workshop focuses on designing abstract contemporary quilts. We’ll grab only two hunks of fabric to make a piece that explodes! This is a great class for those who use artist-made fabric or have a large-scale commercial print.
Pat will show you how to design with improvisational piecing, letting the fabric do the work. We’ll do some warm up design exercises, then dive in and cut up that great fabric. Leave the rulers and templates behind, gain strength in cutting freehand, and discover how to use your fabric in a strong composition.

For those wanting to stay on the island overnight, we recommend booking at the Park Lane Hotel and Suites. It is an all-suites, boutique hotel that is close by the church and quite reasonable compared with other 3 star hotels. A word to the wise: If you are planning on attending and staying overnight at a hotel, book early since this is the week after Easter and most hotels are using Spring Break rates.
A cancellation fee of $50 will apply. No REFUNDS will be provided after March 1st.
