The mission of the Brigham City Museum of Art & History is to collect, preserve, and interpret art and materials that tell stories of human experiences and of the land. The museum is a place to engage with ideas, creativity, and heritage.
Nestled in the heart of historic Brigham City, Utah, the Museum provides opportunities to see exhibitions showcasing fabulous Utah artists, and historical exhibitions that illuminate the history of Utah, and our place in the world. To best serve the community, admission to the museum and its events is free. It was established in 1970 by Brigham City Corporation. The museum is home to a permanent exhibition on the history of Brigham City, and five to six temporary historical and fine art exhibitions a year. We maintain a collection of over 12,000 items, including works of art, historical artifacts, ephemera, natural history specimens, oral histories, and more.
