We Enter, We Leave, We Continue

We Enter, We Leave, We Continue is a kinetic textile installation made of four quilts in red cotton and white lace. Hung and mechanized to rotate like a revolving door, the panels constantly break apart and rejoin. For me, the revolving door is a pathway that offers constant motion, but no real arrival point. In life, we leave one moment and enter the next, but are never fully settled. This work asks viewers to feel how personal transitions shape the connections we make and those we let go.
