When making Comfortable Echoes (one year earlier) I found I could make circular patterns within the Log Cabin technique. I applied this technique here to create smaller circles, which could represent oxygen bubbles against a water background. For these bubbles I used five kimono samples which had been given to me, adding other fabrics to match.
