I like to listen to music and let the artist inspire me. This piece was inspired by a painting my son created of the singer Erykah Badu. He listened to her music while creating his painting.
Materials
Hand dyed and commercial fabrics, wire
Techniques
I placed fabric on my son's painting and sock danced to music over the piece. The oil stick outlines on the painting transferred to the fabric and then I played!
