I have been making quilts since the late 1990s. It has been my career (longarm quilting) and also my passion. I recently retired from quilting for others to concentrate on creating more artwork for my own fulfillment, as well as time for the grandkids. I come from a family of fine artists and am inspired by them as well as my native Southwest. We travel a good deal in the summers now, so I have an endless supply of photographs of the places we have visited for inspiration. I recently joined 4 Common Corners, an art quilt group with SAQA members, which has given me many opportunities for exhibition, and I look forward to what the future holds.
