Bio

I discovered art quilting in 2017. This discovery quickly developed into a total passion, and my life is now devoted to dyeing my own fabrics, sketching, cutting, sewing, creating, trying on the design wall, and quilting. As I learned with some renowned American artists, I work with « no rules, no rulers, no patterns » and I am absolutely delighted with it.

I have been a member of SAQA for 2 years, have participated in local exhibits and international art quilt competitions: four of my quilts were selected in 2020, one for the “Carrefour Européen du Patchwork” in France, another for the exhibition “Quarantine quilts: creativity amidst chaos”, which was published in Sandra Sider’s book. Then I won first prize in the Moda fabric contest, and I am also one of the 40 artists whose work was displayed at the SAQA “Light the world” global exhibit in Ste Marie aux Mines, France, in September 2021.
