2 ½ Dimensions: Sculpting with the Quilting Stitch

"Chisel" the surface of your quilts with stitches to achieve sculptural effects. Experiment with various fabrics, battings, threads, and quilting schemes on traditional quilt sandwiches, then, if you wish, try cut-aways filled with free-motion lace and layering embellishments to develop subtlety and depth in your works. This process-oriented class is the beginning of a journey that can continue for years. (8 hours)
