Synthesis II, a unified and yet dynamically diverse show, is a traveling exhibition that combines the work of 16 Canadian members of Studio Art Quilt Associates. SAQA is an international organization of artists, curators, gallery owners and collectors with over 3,000 members.
Each of the twenty pieces that make up Synthesis II stands on its own as an art work and as a synthesis of the materials and ideas of each artist. The juried works are chosen to reflect a skillful integration of diverse concepts into a fusion of colours, textures and energy.
Synthesis II is being hung in its 11th venue this week and will be open to the public on the following weekends:
August 16 – 17th, August 23-24th, August 30-31st and September 6-7th. The Gallery hours are from 11am to 4 pm each day.
