Split it Nuclear Style

Split it Nuclear Style
34” x 34-1/2”

Marykay Hymes

This is one I made when my daughter first started at Exelon as a nuclear engineer. Using a convergence style design seemed perfect for the idea of “splitting”. The fabrics were black and white with prints resembling X-ray blips, engineered towers and what resembled an atomic atom. Quilted in circles it includes spirals of crystals based on nuclear fission: 1 splits into 2, then into 4, 16, etc.
