I live in a NYC apartment, with limited space to create. Fabric, threads, pencils, paints and sketchbooks are stored on shelves, behind my granddaughter’s drawings which I tape to the edges of the shelves. There is a small table in front of a window in the space on the left, and a narrow windowsill in the space on the right. I only work by the windows which give me just the right amount of ambient light, which my light sensitive eyes can tolerate. In both spaces I sit on the arm of a chair to draw or stitch. I call my space, My Windowsill Studio.
