MEMBERS
The SAQA Journal is published four times a year, now in full color, and mailed to all members. It contains reviews of exhibitions, professional development articles and essays on issues of interest to art quilters, as well as Board updates, conference information, organizational announcements and letters to the editor, Carolyn Lee Vehslage (clvquilts@yahoo.com).

SAQA Journal Grammar Standardization
- All ending punctuation is inside of quotations. Example: “Quilt Title.”
- All compound sentences have commas before the conjunctions.
- All lists of items are separated by commas. Example: Item 1, item 2, and item 3…
- There is only a single space between sentences.
- Unless an exhibition is in the future, all reviews are converted to past tense.
- Reviews must mention the exhibition title, venue, location, and dates in the first paragraph.
- All Articles, Reviews, Meet a Representative, and Opinion pieces must be in the first person, not third person.
- 'Quilt maker' is two words, not ‘quiltmaker.’
- 'Email' is one word, not 'e-mail.'
- 'Online' is one word, not 'on line.'
- 'Web site' is two words, not 'website.'
- Use 'artwork' or 'art' instead of ‘work.’
- Exhibit is the verb, exhibition is the noun.
- Use exhibition instead of ‘show.’
Captions for artwork include title, height x width, copyright date, artist, and web site:
