2020 Conference - Call for Vendors
As part of our annual conference, Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) will host a "Vendor Marketplace" for conference attendees from all over the world. This is a unique opportunity to reach a special group of consumers. The Vendor Marketplace will run concurrent with attendee registration for the conference. This event will also be open to the public. Other sponsorship and advertising opportunities are also available.
Due to tax and licensing requirements, ONLY vendors already registered to sell in Canada will be able to apply!
We are seeking suppliers for a vendor display for our attendees, avid fiber artists from around the world who enjoy incorporating beautiful fibers and embellishments in their artwork. As examples, we are seeking hand-dyed fabrics in all colors and fiber content; paints, dyes, stamps and stencils; yarns, threads, woven fabric, roving; wooden or glass beads, and wearables that incorporate these materials. Our members appreciate and collect unique and/or hand-made items as opposed to mass-produced.

- There will be 15 tables for vendors to display wares. Space rental is $100 USD per 6 foot table.
- Depending on availability, vendors can rent additional tables ($100 USD each, max 3 per vendor).
- Due to hotel regulations, electricity is only available for an additional fee ($90 CAD, payable directly to third-party provider). Details will be provided to accepted vendors.
- Vendors are responsible for staffing their table, setting up their display, handling sales, and tear-down. Displays must be freestanding as the hotel will not permit anything to be attached to walls.

All applications will be reviewed by the SAQA Special Events Committee and prospective vendors will be contacted by December 31st about their application status.
