Special Interest Group - Language Connection: French
Moderated by Gül Laporte
Do you speak French? And would you enjoy exploring the wonderful world of art quilts in French? This group removes the language barrier for French speakers and allows you to get the most of your SAQA benefits and opportunities.
In addition to meeting other SAQA members, you’ll learn more about SAQA and discuss useful topics including the best way to ship art internationally, how to apply for calls-for-entry, exhibition themes explained, how to find venues with international SAQA exhibits, etc.
This will be an ongoing, drop-in group so all French speakers are welcome to participate at any time. At the first meeting, the group will decide the dates and times for future meetings. This, along with the topics for each will be posted here.
- Get acquainted
- How to send your art internationally at better cost
- How to fill your call for entries
- Set next meeting dates and time
To all francophone members:
Next French language zoom meeting will take place on Thursday September 20th at its usual time, ie 18h CEST (noon EDT). During this meeting we will take the opportunity to analyze where we stand and to discuss what items interest you the most.
The agenda will be posted later. We rely on your presence which will be the last one before autumn. Please register with Gül Laporte (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Thank you and see you soon on Zoom!
