Juried Artist Members - Profile Details
A key benefit of being a Juried Artist Member (JAM) is a gallery profile page on the SAQA website. Each artist can have up to five high-resolution images of their art as well as contact information and artist statements. If you are a new or existing JAM, use the link below to update your profile.

Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Why should I upload my images?
- The Juried Artist Gallery is one of our most visited website pages
- Only JAM images are eligible to be included in our monthly online galleries
- Each month, a new homepage slide is created from JAM images
- JAM images are also used to create website graphics, headers for our emails, and other marketing materials - get more exposure for your art!
- Only Juried Artists with at least one image are included in our online JAM Directory
What are the specifications for digital images?
- Images must be in jpg format, between 1000 and 2100 pixels on the longest side.
- Images should not exceed 5MB in size.
- Do not include watermarks or text on your images.
Publishing blurry, improperly exposed, or oddly cropped photos is self-defeating for an organization whose mission is to promote the art of the quilt. As artists, then, it’s our responsibility to ourselves and to the other artists in our medium to show our work to the best possible advantage. Read more about preparing Digital Images »
Images should be of good quality as they may be included in a full-screen slideshow. If you have low-res images, you will need to replace them. The small images currently on many artist pages look very blurry and do not reflect well on the quality of your artwork. Images of inferior quality may be marked as ineligible for display in our slideshows (they will still display on your member profile detail page).
Why are my images not selected for the slideshow / email header / homepage?
Images that do not meet our specifications (above) will not be approved for the JAM slideshow (which randomly selects 50 images each time). Only images that meet our minimum size will be selected for email headers / homepage slide.
What kind of contact information should I include?
Only include the address information you want displayed on a public webpage. If you don't want your phone number or email listed, do not include it in this field. If no information is entered, only your name and website will be displayed. NOTE: JAM address information is in a separate database from mySAQA. Updates do NOT carry over.
How do I update my Art Services listing?
Juried Artists can also be listed in SAQA's Art Services Directory. Do you offer a professional service that would be helpful to art quilters? Would you like to promote your art, workshops or publications? Are you currently accepting commissions? Don't miss this opportunity to market yourself! Update your Art Services listing »
Can I still update my profile myself?
For now, you still are able to update your images as you have in the past. Login to your website Member Profile page. Scroll down the page to your Juried Artist Information. If you are not familiar with this process, please use the new form to submit your information.
I am not a JAM member - is this how I apply?
This form is only for existing JAM members. It is NOT how you apply to become a Juried Artist member. If you are not a current JAM member, please do not use this form. learn more about becoming a jam
