My current work is focusing on the use of line, one of the elements of design. I find it a challenge to depict lines as I want them to appear. Too thick and they become shapes. Too thin and they disappear. For this gallery, I chose works that use lines in some fashion: pieced into the composition, created with surface design, drawn with stitching, or laid on top. Different processes create different results and each artist has chosen the method that best presents his or her concepts.
