From River to Ocean

Anne Bellas lives in Nantes, a city of half a million inhabitants in Brittany, western France, at the mouth of the Loire river. She has been influenced by both the river and the Atlantic Ocean: waters and tides, winds, ships, and salt marshes are daily influencing elements that nourish her imagination. She tries to convey these into her paintings in an abstract way.
