Create original artwork to engage and challenge yourself and the public to become better Stewards of our environment.
Artwork should consider: What would the earth say to what we are doing to her? Garbage, Blue-green algae, plastics, oil spills, human trash, emissions, climate change? What side are you on in humanity’s war on the environment? In what ways can you contribute to positive solutions for protecting our earth? What actions can you take for better Stewardship of Mother Earth? How can you motivate others to act?
The artist statement is a key factor in the admission of your piece to the exhibition. Tell us a little bit about your piece, and why you believe it fits the theme, "Turf Wars: Art Speaks for the Earth." 100 words or less.
