“Still Water” is an exhibition conceived by SAQA textile artist Jean M. Judd of Cushing, Wisconsin, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the St. Croix River being part of the National Scenic Riverway system in the United States. She selected eight artists to participate along with her in this exciting exhibition. Artwork Ms. Judd has selected for inclusion in the exhibit includes several pieces from her Contaminated Water Series. This exhibit will feature artists who work with artistic media such as ceramics, wood, painting, photography, and textiles. Each artist has a strong voice that makes their work stand out. They will be exploring the concept of rivers and water and the town of Stillwater as it relates to them, their environment, and their life experience.
