This piece was done during the pandemic when I felt totally trapped in my home and studio. I started a series that was called Out of the Box and used geometric shapes that extended off the edges of my canvas as a symbolism of my "Big Escape" from the box that I felt I was living in. This piece called Celebration 2 was done after the vaccinations were announced and I felt like our long confinement would soon be over and that life would resume as it once was before Covid-19 disrupted our world. Mounted on stretched canvas.
