SAQA offers a series of online discussion groups called Special Interest Groups (SIGs). These meetings take place "virtually" using Zoom video conferencing technology. It's a fun way to meet other SAQA members and discuss art-related topics.
2019 Conference - Call for Presenters
The Special Events Committee is seeking presentation proposals for the SAQA "Innovative Threads" Conference in San Jose, California April 25-28, 2019. We are looking for compelling proposals on topics of interest to our membership, including but not limited to innovative trends in textile art, the business of art, social media marketing, principles of design and composition, understanding the jury process, getting work into exhibits or galleries, critique/criticism, working smart, legal issues, and public speaking.
